For this series of photographs, I wanted to show a fear in a new way. Rather than have zombies be portrayed as human eating monsters, I decided to take a humorous route and have them try to live life like normal people. So I dressed my friends up as zombies and took them to the campus of the University of West Georgia, and documented their experiences as zombies attempting to coexist in a world of humans.
This photography series is based on my own identity, and how my piers, and myself view me. In the first photo, my friends view me as the mother figure, always cleaning and watching out for others. In the second I have my surrogate, as a person who could possibly take my place if need be. The third photo is how I view myself, a lively and passionate artist. The final photo is how I want to be, sophisticated, and viewed as beautiful.
This series documents Atlanta Graffiti, specifically one area in Cabbagetown, Georgia, that has been a hotspot for artists to tag. One bridge is completely covered head to toe in multiple artists work. What I wanted to get from this series is that art does not have to hang in a gallery to be considered art.
